It's a case

A nice case for casual gigs. It's lightweight and should protect your axe from minor casualty. A step up from the padded gig-bag. Semi water-resistant. A good value, nearly what I was looking for. (see following) A lighter color would be nice to reduce solar heat-up. Backpack straps would be nice, as well.

MEASURE

This case is very long. My short bass didn't fit in it at all. Make sure your measure your bass and check the specs. It is nice and light, but the length made it awkward to carry.

    Rigid light weight case. Much better then a gig bag and the same price range. Gator cases seem to be built to well and made to protect your investment. Fits my Warwick fretless Corvette well and still plenty of space inside for tuner strap and some extra strings. Also has a great zipper pocket for sheet music and you guitar strap.

    I own 3 of these cases and they're fantastic. Lightweight and durable. Exactly what I was looking for. Gig n bags don't provide the protection that these c cases do

    I was looking for a lightweight case that would provide protection for my bass going to and from worship services. This is perfect. It might not be as good for a musician that does a lot of gigging in different places, but it's great my my purposes. It gives enough protection but doesn't weigh me down.

    Seems to be a very well-constructed case with heavy-duty zippers. LIght-weight but nicely padded and should protect my bass with normal use. My Fender P bass fits perfectly.
