Fender American Performer Jazz Bass electronics and finish

Low end for any venue

The American Performer Jazz Bass with rosewood fingerboard includes the Yosemite single-coil pickups, designed for rich, expressive tones. With flat-staggered pole pieces to increase output and a shellac coating that lets the coil breathe while controlling feedback, Yosemite pickups produce dynamic sounds ideal for any musical situation.

The American Performer Jazz Bass also features Greasebucket tone circuitry that lets you shape your highs without adding bass, preserving your sound. With the Fender Performer series there has never been a better time to own a Fender Bass.

This American Performer Jazz Bass includes a gig bag.

My father, a working musician most of his life, kept an old Fender Jazz as his "go to" bass. He taught me to play on that J bass and I always go back to it. This is a beautiful instrument that can crank out funky lows, lilting chords and everything in between.

All basses vary depending on the density of the wood. Even the same model can vary up to 1.5 lbs Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Bass Guitars are generally between 8.00 and 10.00 lbs. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. This will be approximately 8.5 - 9.5 lbs
