Yngwie J Malmsteen's signature Stratocaster was one of the first official Fender signature instruments when it first came out in 1988. As a tribute to Yngwie's lasting impact on guitarists, the Fender Custom Shop has made it a permanent part of the Custom Artist Collection. Codesigned with Malmsteen, the guitar reflects all the features that make the heavily modified original a key part of the neoclassical shred genre he created. From the heavily scalloped fingerboard with a brass nut to the Seymour Duncan YJM Fury signature pickups, it's an instrument that opens new musical vistas for any player. It includes a deluxe hardshell case, strap, YJM signature strings and a certificate of authenticity.
