I've always used 10 gauge strings for years. Recently I've been trying out some other gauges for kicks. I've used some 8's which are actually great but sometimes I feel I've a little sloppy in my playing and the 8's I tend to bend out of tune too easily. These seemed to be a good match for me and my playing style.
