Description
The Ernie Ball Paradigm Hybrid Slinky electric guitar strings are the world's strongest and most durable strings, brought to you by the iconic brand that has been dedicated to crafting premium guitar strings since 1962. Featuring Ernie Ball's legendary Slinky tone and feel along with their patented RPS technology, these strings dramatically increase tensile strength over traditional strings.
Plasma-Enhanced Technology Repels Corrosion
Each Paradigm string is plasma cleaned, providing improved corrosion resistance. Coupled with Ernie Ball's patented treatment, these strings repel sweat and buildup to keep your tone alive for longer with zero change to the feel. The Hybrid Slinky gauge, with slightly lighter bass strings and standard treble strings, provides a balanced tone for various musical styles.
Superior Break-Resistance for Aggressive Playing
Whether you're a touring musician, play often in salty environments, or simply demand the most from your instrument, Paradigm strings were designed with you in mind. Put them to the test—not even renowned artists like Kenny Wayne Shepherd or John Petrucci have been able to break them. These strings can withstand the most aggressive playing styles and environments, providing ultimate reliability and peace of mind.
90-Day Guarantee: The Strongest and Most Durable
Paradigm strings feature Ernie Ball's first fully backed guarantee: if they break or rust within 90 days, Ernie Ball will replace them. Their state-of-the-art wire drawing process and RPS technology make Paradigm strings the strongest and most durable strings available today. Experience premium tone, performance and dependability like never before.
The Paradigm Shift is Here

I honestly do not know how to start this, but I actually like Ernie Ball and the strings they make. I like the tone and feel of their strings. I also love how a lot of the guitarists and bands that I know and love, even legends, use these strings. But, when I got these strings, I expected them to last longer than 3 months, but I had to change them after around a month. I think this is because of how dirty the fretboard of my guitar is or because of how low quality my guitar is. I own a Squier Affinity Stratocaster HSS, and I'm not sure if it is my instrument to blame, the amount of air in my room, or sunlight. Also, the strings tended to get really weak when I bend. I can't even bend a whole step on the high E string after like 3 weeks. I was really anticipating these strings to be a lot different than the classic Slinky strings, but I believe both strings are of same quality.
Not that smooth.

Bought these on whim b/c they were on sale and I thought why not. I've tried the standard slinky's from EB many times and generally found them to be dead out of the package or be dull within a day or two of playing. I assumed that these would be similar but they've been on my guitar for two weeks and still in very good condition and do not sound or feel dull. I've been using a 9-46 set on a strat with floating bridge and the tone has stayed nice and lively. I will for sure be buying more of them.
Great product, Ernie Ball has always been my first choice.

I usually end up breaking the G string every couple of weeks, so it's a nice change to have really durable strings. These Paradigm strings keep me playing and bending notes as long as I desire.
GREAT
