Built for shredding solos and wide bends, these nickel-plated steel strings provide a light, slinky feel with slightly less tension on the high E, B and G strings. The Hyper Slinky set is perfect for lead players looking to boost speed and expression. Featuring gauges of .008, .011, .014, .024, .032 and .042, the Hyper Slinky strings deliver a balanced tone with enhanced playability for complex riffs and solos.

Lighter Tension Unlocks New Heights of Expression

With reduced tension on the first three strings, the Hyper Slinky set allows for wider bends, faster slides and effortless fretting. The slinkier feel makes it easy to add nuance and passion to your playing, enabling you to push the boundaries of lead guitar. The Hyper Slinky strings are ideal for shredding, with a light, quick response that keeps up with even the fastest fingers.

Nickel-Plated Steel Produces a Warm, Balanced Tone

The nickel-plated steel wrap wire delivers a smooth, warm tone with rich overtones. The plating helps reduce fingernail squeaks and string noise, while enhancing string life. The tin-plated hex-shaped steel core provides a tight, focused tone. Together, these materials create a balanced sound with chimey highs, tight lows and a hint of midrange growl. The Hyper Slinky strings will bring out the best in any guitar, from solid body electrics to hollow bodies.

ive been using these for years, i set my action extremely low to the fret board, and with thicker strings its really hard to get them to not have fret buzz, these 8's as most would refer them as, are the smallest gauge you can get, and with my action so low, they are a must. strings are mostly player preference, so i wont sit here and try to convince anyone that there better strings then others, but if your trying to set your axe with super low action and cant get the fret buzz to go away, id suggest trying these out, there super slick, not much string noise, and they last a good bit before noticable wear.

I am using these on a 3D printed guitar and wanted them to be as light as possible without snapping at the first bend. They are doing well so far.
