Description

The Ernie Ball 2004 Earthwood 80/20 Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings is crafted from premium materials for unparalleled performance, these strings provide the crisp, ringing sound that has made Ernie Ball the choice of countless musicians worldwide. The 80/20 bronze alloy wrap achieves a perfect balance of warmth and clarity, with light tension for effortless playability. The 2004 Earthwood strings are precision engineered to meet the high standards of even the most discerning players.

80/20 Bronze Wrap for Optimal Acoustic Tone

The 80/20 bronze alloy wrap is one of the most popular choices for acoustic guitar, providing a blend of rich overtones and sparkling high end. 80 percent copper and 20 percent zinc give these strings a warm yet defined voice that rings out with stunning clarity. The blend of tone and projection suits a wide range of musical styles, from delicate fingerpicking to aggressive strumming.

Light Gage for Comfort and Playability

The light gauge 2004 Earthwood strings have a slinky, flexible feel that makes extended playing sessions effortless. The .011 first string and .052 sixth string tension provide a comfortable resistance for most acoustic guitars. The light gauge also helps maximize the resonance and sustain of the instrument's soundboard for a full, ringing tone.

Precision Manufactured for Consistent Quality

Ernie Ball is renowned for their meticulous approach to string making. The 2004 Earthwood strings are crafted according to exacting specifications, with each string individually gaged and tension tested. These strings are built to provide consistent performance, tone and intonation every time. The element shield packaging helps keep the strings fresh until the moment you put them on your guitar.

Sheer Excellence

I have a Yamaha FG730S Solid Cedar Top and after applying these strings, my guitar pretty much sounds more crisp, clear, and more distinct than martins or taylors that cost a thousand dollars more. I'm very pleased with it's bright tone and long life and playability... definitely a MUST BUY! Most bang for your buck definitely...

short life

Had an interesting tone, I rather liked it; but I've never had strings with such a short life span. Bought a pack for a backup set, and ended up pulling them out in an emergency. At somewhere between 7-10 days life, literally in the middle of a music set, the tone got bad, distractingly bad. Terrible :(

I picked up a used Yamaha FS800 in a pawn shop for a second guitar. Threw these Earthwood strings on there and it plays like a dream - great sound from a smaller guitar, nice and bright but not twangy, and easy on the fingers.

  • I will definitely continue buying and using these.

I love the balance of these sets, great tone, easy on the fingers, easy to capo without tuning issues. long last as well. I'm not a heavy bender but have had no breakage issues. I have been using these on my Ibanez and Fender acoustic electrics for a long while now, I remain happy with this product.
