EVH® All-New 5150® Series

Description
Like its iconic predecessor, this reimagined EVH 5150 Standard electric guitar features a modified Strat-style basswood body with a deeper upper body curve for enhanced resonance and sustain. The graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple neck has a comfortable modified C-profile and hand-rubbed satin urethane back finish. Built for fluid playability, the 12"–16" compound radius ebony fingerboard has 22 jumbo frets and cream dot inlays.
Powerful Pickups Deliver Articulate Tone
While the original 5150 had only a single humbucking bridge pickup, this all-new model is outfitted with an HH pickup configuration controlled by a three-way toggle switch. The custom-designed EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking bridge pickup delivers punchy articulation, thick rhythms and balanced overdrive. The EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucker neck pickup provides endless sustain and articulate cleans when the volume is rolled down.
Floyd Rose Bridge Enables Signature Dive-Bomb Effects
Decked out with an EVH-branded Floyd Rose bridge, this "dive-bomb" ready ax lets you mimic Eddie's signature tremolo work. Featuring fine tuners for each string and EVH's patented D-Tuna, you can switch between drop-D and standard tuning instantly. A lower bout kill switch produces stuttering rhythmic effects, while a low-friction volume pot enables super-smooth volume swells.
Spotlight-Ready Style in Stealth Black
With an all-new Stealth Black finish and matching hockey stick headstock, this high-performance ax boasts stylish good looks. All-black hardware, including EVH-branded Gotoh tuning machines, provides the perfect complement. The Stealth Black finish lets the 5150 Standard fly under the radar until you plug in and unleash its full potential.
Premium Components and Playability
Premium components like an adjustable truss rod spoke wheel, 500K EVH Bourns low-friction volume pot and 250K EVH Bourns high-friction tone pot ensure exceptional performance and tone control. With a 25.5" scale length and .009–.042 gauge strings, this guitar is built for speed, comfort and attitude.

Came setup, I wont change anything. Needs nothing! The neck is the best neck I have ever experienced, it plays like butter. Difficult runs are easy on this guitar and it is super light but the sound of this is truly amazing! Thunderous lows and sparkling highs at the same time! This is the do it all axe! I am buying another one. It's that good. Just get one! I have a ridiculous amount of highest end guitars from Gibson, Fender, Ibanez and more. I am thinking about selling most of them because I wont play them now.

This guitar growls without an amp, once plugged into an amp this EVH screams. The pickups have major sustain, the bridge and the neck pickup are very distinguishable. The action, feel it is a perfect rock guitar.
