Sounded great upon initial jam. Only have had the product for a short time but seems solid.

Not much to say about this cab that hasn't been said already. I was a little worried that going down to a 1x12 that I would be trading off the punchy low end of a 4x12 and.... well, OK it's not as punchy as a 4x12 at gig volumes, but when I turn up the resonance on my EVH 5150 LBX2, I can get some serious low thump at recording volumes. Even still, it sounds big for its size. No "boxy" sound like some compact 1x12's have. This is most likely due to it being slightly deeper in size than most cabs. It's lightweight, easy to move around, and feels very solid. I plan on making this one my go-to for jams and small gigs. It fits easily in the back of my hatchback along with the head, pedalboard, and accessories. Another thing I like is that it blends well with just about any other lunchbox head you stack on it. Sounds great and can put out some serious decibels.

  • I would DEF buy this again

Perfect! I have the 2x12 also but was getting sick of lugging that to shows. This is perfect for the 50 watt head. Love it!

Do I need to buy anything else with this amp or would I be good with just this? More specifically, I see people pairing it with a head, do you have to buy both?

It says that this cab is perfect for the EVH 50W head but the speaker is only rated at 30W. How can a 30W speaker handle a 50W head?
