Thought I'd try out slide guitar. I bought a few different sizes/thicknesses of the ones from Dunlop to get a variety since they're relatively inexpensive and I wasn't sure which would work best for me. They work great.

  • A great slide for your pinky!

This fits my pinky finger snugly and I like the thick wall. It makes a smoother sound with more sustain than my steel slide. I have average-size fingers - you may need a larger slide. The slide is marked 212 inside. I wish Guitar Center's web site included the manufacturer's model number on the slides. You can look up the model on Dunlop's website and see it on their ring size chart so you can find out whether it will fit right (not flopping around but not too tight).

  • Great glassy tone

Got this not sure of size or if thickness would help. Fits my pinky and will get one that fits my ring finger now. The thickness helps sustain and overall tone adding a certain 'glassiness' over a thin glass slide. the thick wall dunlop will be my glass slide of choice.Much better slide than another brand at almost twice the price.

Feels sturdy for glass. I got the short one for my pinky. I do wish I had gotten the long one of the same size to reach all the strings. On my acoustic, it barely covers them all, so they buzz if I try full six string chords. But for the price, it's unbeatable. And on those high strings, it rings out clear as a bell. Pro tip: keep the slides in an old glasses case! You can even add in some felt with Velcro backing or something for padding.

I want to order the short glass slide, but the one that is that fattest for fat fingers. I want the slide to go up to where I would wear a ring, so I need the largest short one, if that makes sense to you? I want to order as soon as you can give me an answer. Thanks

We only have the short/single or the small/single available at this time, so you would probably need the short/single.
