Comments about Casio Privia PX560 Portable Digital Piano:

This keyboard is absolutely amazing for the price! I upgraded from the Casio CDP-135 because I was looking for something with a better sound and loads of more tones. I chose this for a few reasons. For one, the keys have a synthetic ivory feel to them, which feels amazing. There's loads of ways to modify sounds on this which is a huge plus. It has a modulation wheel which adds vibrato to sounds but can also be assigned to change other parameters in real time, such as a resonance and cutoff. The PX-560 also has 3 knobs which can also be assigned to perform different things as well. The touch screen is so easy to use. At first I felt intimidated because there's so much to do on this keyboard, but I figured things out in minutes,. This keyboard is perfect for aspiring/professional piano players as well. I love that this has built in speakers and a sheet music stand, both of which are important to me for home use. This keyboard is amazing for dedicated students looking for a good piano experience, but is more geared towards professional/ on-stage use because of its features. I love the PX-560 so much and can't recommend it enough!

A nice step up from Privia PX 330

Comments about Casio Privia PX560 Portable Digital Piano:

I've had a PX-330 for 8 years and used it daily as a practice piano. I moved to this because of the better sound, especially the resonance as I found myself using the damper pedal too much to fill out the sound on the 330. The default grand piano is excellent and both the action and simulated ivory and ebony of the keys brings this surprisingly close to the sound and feel of a high end real piano. The sounds and rhythms are based on what was in the 330 but between the digital display and a better layout of buttons, this is much more useable. My only suggestion so far is that Casio should post a lot more tutorials.

Comments about Casio Privia PX560 Portable Digital Piano:

This instrument excels as a digital piano. Although the synth sounds are good, it is not a workstation. Using the prepackaged sounds and rhythms is easy but creating new sequences presents a set of challenges. The PX-560 is best for performers that require minimal tweaking.

Comments about Casio Privia PX560 Portable Digital Piano:

This is one of the best pianos my daughter has played on. She loves it! sounds like very close to a real piano and the functionalities are just too many to name. It took her about an hour to put together the furniture (stand) that we bought along with the keyboard. Fast shipping! We called the guitar center to make the purchase on July 4th got a 15% discount, an added bonus.
