The limited edition BMG Special Electric Guitar is the result of a unique collaboration between Brian May, his long-standing guitar tech Pete Malandrone and House Music. The BMG Special combines the distinctive aesthetics and sound of the legendary Red Special guitr with modern appointments and superb craftsmanship. All the foundations of the trademark BM sound are present, with construction, pickups and electronics faithfully reproducing the character and tonal versatility of the original. But this is more than just a replica. The Special is designed to provide modern players of all musical persuasions with an affordable pro-grade instrument that is the ideal "go-to" guitar for any performance environment. Equipped with three Tri-Sonic style single-coil pickups, the BMG Special delivers the same retro-styling and magnet alignment as the originals, along with the original BM Switching System and a modern Wilkinson Knife-Edge Tremolo. Additional features include an acoustic chambered mahogany body, mahogany neck and Grover locking tuners.
