Boosey and Hawkes

collapse expand iconDescription

Scored for triple choir and a small instrumental ensemble, this piece takes full advantage of the effects of antiphonal singing. The text is a setting of Stephen Heighton's gloss on Psalm 23, and is inspired by the sweeping landscapes and terrains of Canadian geography.
