Based on poetry by Sara Teasdale, this work, in the composer's words, is a passionate roller-coaster ride, surprising and exhilarating, and over before one knows it. Commissioned for the Minnesota All-State Women's Choir and accompanied by piano and violin, this piece will be a striking showcase for concert and festival performances. Duration: ca. 2:50.
