collapse expand iconDescription

Aquarian Super-2 Coated drumheads have great attack, projection, and depth unlike any other drumheads. The patented Aquarian Safe-T-Loc hoop prevents the drumhead from slipping and the Sound Curve collar design provides "Responsive Tuning." With Responsive Tuning, one turn of the drum key and Aquarian Super-2 drumheads react. Aquarian includes a tuning sheet with each Super-2 coated drumhead.

The coating on these heads flake off ridiculously faster then similar heads from Remo or Evans. My snare head started flaking immediately after the first few strokes. After a 30 min set rehearsal, my Aquarian coated 14" had a 1.5 inch circle that flaked off. Not cool.

These drum heads are amazing! Just when I thought Aquarian drum heads could not get better, i try the Super 2s and they are outstanding! To clarify what GC doesnt, Super 2s are made up of 2 plys, a 5mil & 7mil. This gives the head the sensitivity and response of a single ply head, with the durablity of a 2 ply. I play coated, and these heads give me the best tone i could ask for out of my drums.

Warm tones that fill the room, without having to do much. Tune them up, then play them both loud & hard then soft & touchy and they will have thick tone either way. To me these are "my heads" and will be for a long time.
