I would buy this case again.

I use my case for an Alvarez ABT60E Baritone guitar. I just purchased my guitar new in 2017. It fits my guitar great. The website for Alvarez shows the lower bout as being I believe 439mm wide. This is more than 17" but my guitar measures about 16 3/4". I think the website may be wrong regarding the size of the current ABT60E (OTHER DIMENSIONS I DID NOT CHECK) It's actually a very nice case but not as nice as say a ~$150. Martin case. It fits well and has good padding. Kind of a cool retro look too. I think at some point Alvarez must have shrunk this model guitar.. a little...but no worries.. it's still a beast and sounds great. (A thank you to prior reviewers)

Expected better fit

This is an all around case for Alvarez Jumbo series guitars. My AJ80CE does NOT fit well in this case. Too much wiggle room. I gave 3 stars only because latches are good & the interior is padded, plus ample storage for extra strings, etc. Apprehensive at best as to how well the exterior will hold up. Would not recommend putting on an airplane with this instrument inside.

    I bought this cool retro guitar case for my new old 12 string acoustic. It just looks perfect for the guitar. The first one came damaged but the folks at Guitar Center were right on it getting me a replacement in under 3 days!

    Need to bring the action down . Way too high without shims . Had to sand the bone saddle down a lot on both ends .
