Tool used for intonating your Floyd Rose, works fine! Really, these should come standard when you purchase a Floyd Rose trem or guitar with a Floyd Rose.
I'd buy this again.

I bought this tool at Guitar Center a couple of weeks ago and immediately used it to set up two of my guitars with Floyd Rose tremelos. The product I received is slightly different from the picture on this website. The main difference is that the knob on the product I recieved was plastic and smooth, as opposed to the metal, textured one shown. I also believe that the one shown on the picture could also be turned with an allen key. The product came without instruction, although, it should be self-explanatory. This product worked as advertised. I was also to achieve precise results in quicker time. For best results, block off and balance the trem (block of wood, battery, etc) and remove a spring. This allows you to tune your strings to pitch and work on a saddle without affecting the pitch of the other strings. Once done and checked, install the spring and tune the A (5th) string with the claw spring.

I have owned a couple of guitars with a Floyd Rose licensed tremolo. I had a $10 gift certificate from Guitar Center and used it to order this item. It took 5 business days. There are no instructions for it, so usage was intuitive or via the internet. The item I recieved was slightly different from the one pictured; the knob was made of smooth plastic rather than the smooth textured steel in the picture. It worked as advertised, reducing my time for intonation. First, block your trem inside the cavity (with a battery, business cards, etc.) until the Floyd Rose is level. Just place the key behind the saddle between the finer tuners and the string lock screw. Next, adjust it until you feel it supporting the string lock screw. Detuned that string and loosen the saddle lock screw. Tune all the strings to pitch. Begin the intonation process. With this key, I can now be more accurate with my saddle placement. After you have the right intonation point, tigthen the saddle lock screw. Done. I used this to intonate two guitars. Great tool. I don't regret the purchase.

Will this work on FU 2 trem
I'm sorry but I'm not sure. I don't have one to check. The FU is not a Floyd Rose product. In a case like this we recommend having a qualified tech look at the instrument.submitteda year ago

Does this work with an edge 3 bridge? I also have a Floyd licensed ESP from 2003. Compatible?
It will work with the Floyd Licensed but it won't work with the Edge 3.
