Electronics Upgrades and Customization

Whether you're simply replacing a pickup or going for a full custom electronics and switching package, Guitar Center Repairs is your solution. PICKUP INSTALL

Replace a single pickup. This service includes all labor associated with removing the old pickup as well as installing the new pickup and rewiring the preexisting connections.

MULTIPLE PICKUP INSTALL

Replace multiple pickups in a single instrument. This service includes all labor associated with removing the old pickups as well as installing the new pickups and rewiring the preexisting connections.

acoustic pickup install

Install an undersaddle or transducer pickup on an acoustic instrument. This service includes all labor associated with installing the pickup as well as installing the preamp for the system.

potentiometer install

Install a standard three-lug potentiometer (volume or tone knob). This service includes all labor associated with removing the old potentiometer, as well as installing and wiring a direct replacement of an existing potentiometer.

switching potentiometer

Install a switching potentiometer (push/pull, push/push or other) or a dual concentric potentiometer (blend pot, stacked pot or other). This service includes all labor associated with removing the old potentiometer, as well as installing and wiring a direct replacement of an existing switching potentiometer.

wiring repair

Repair 1–4 solder joints or replace 1–3 wires within a guitar. This also applies to rewiring a switch or potentiometer for new functionality.

pickup selector switch

Replace a switch on an instrument. This service includes all of the labor associated with removing an old switch and replacing it.

output jack

Replace an output jack. This service includes all labor associated with removing the old jack, as well as installing and wiring a new output jack.
