A marvel of modern guitar engineering - a must try

I've owned Bodens before. They were amazing at the time but seemed too 'trendy' for me then. Now that I'm a little older and arthritis is creeping its ugly head into my wrists I decided I need to give them another shot. First off, regardless if you have wrist issues, these are incredible instruments! It's difficult to describe the experience playing one of these guitars. They are lighter than air, extremely comfortable to use, and they play absolutely amazing. You don't need to be a shreddy prog player to appreciate them either. They are designed for all guitarists regardless of genre and you are seeing more and more players of all sorts adopting them. The Endurneck is easy to adapt to. It looks really big but does not feel like it. You honestly just don't notice it and that's by design. This instrument was designed to stay out of its own way and just let you think about your playing. I could go on and on about the playability but just trust me. If you are not afraid to try something new and a little left of center, give one of these a try. You will be surprised at how great they are to play. As far as the built quality, this is top of the line stuff. Not a single defect, error, or blemish to be found. The fretwork is astounding. I was able to get mine set up at .70 mm high E and .90 low E with no buzz, just a little too much spank for my heavy right hand so I raised it up to .09 and 1.0 and it's effortless and buzzless. You can only get that low with near perfect fretwork and a super straight neck. This is the tightest tolerance of anything I've ever seen made of wood. I may be a bit biased, but I've owned Music Man and Prestige Ibanez and the build quality and QC is right there with them. I know the Indonesia stamp on the back turns a lot of people off because of the price, but believe be this is serious build quality. PT Cort has a production line exclusively for Strandberg and they know what they are doing. If this guitar was built in the US it would be easily twice the price. Just do yourself a favor and give one a try. You won't be disappointed!
