Wylde Audio 4491 WA-VW2 Case

Amazing case!!

Overpriced, cheap build quality. This should be included with the guitar, not an expensive Chinese-made add-on.

This case is heavy. Even empty its has some weight to it. That's likely due to the size of the Viking V it's built to hold. A previous reviewer mentioned he believed his was used and reboxed because it arrived in a Schecter box. These are made by Schecter (as are the guitars) and come direct from their factory. They all come in a Schecter box. The only other thing besides the weight that I have an issue with is the latches seem a bit flimsy and I don't completely trust them to stay closed. That's why I keep the center latch locked. I don't know of any alternative cases for the Wylde Viking V because of its size. I checked the measurements for other cases and I don't believe there is another case large enough to hold it.

Previously purchased 2 of these direct from Wylde Audio with no issues. GC purchase is dented, small tear in covering and case hinges is way out of alignment, case has obviously been dropped. Looks like a factory reseal. Torn up bag was taped directly to case leaving adhesive on it. Just a terrible sloppy packing job. Packing slip literally wadded up in the box like it was thrown in trash. This is my last GC purchase.

Received my order today. It came in a Schecter box, which was a BIG red flag. After taking it out of the box I noticed two gouges in the case and after opening it looked to have another home before me. Imprints of hands and another guitar were inside. Obviously this case needs to be sold as an open box item with a discount. I will be sending back
