    IMP 2 Standard Direct Box works great and no noise. I bought two of these one for my Keyboard player and one for my Bass Player so they can run direct into the P A System. The ones they replaced were quite old and were not working well at all. IMP 2 was recommended to me to buy and I am glad I did. there is no hissing noise or popping going on like my old ones would do. Nice to be able to set these up and not have to mess with the direct box to get the noise out of them. I highly recommend the IMP 2 Standard Direct Box
