Marched this stick a number of years, being the main stick i've used over the last 6 years of playing Quads. Incredible weight distribution and likely the best tone you'll get from a stick. Throughout high school, WGI, and now DCI, the John Mapes Tenor sticks will forever be a go to in my stick bag! #sweepstakes

Since its for snare the stick is much thicker than regular sticks but there the only one I use so it feels great to me. I got them to practice before marching battery tryouts and am still working for it though my lead snare has been teaching me and said that the stick is good for drumline. bought two would recommend. only problem is that my hands get sweaty but I usually use old spice for that works fine

My line bought new sticks, I used em, hated em, came back to these. Now I have to buy my sticks but it's worth it.

Great stick on quads. My favorite so far. However they were not matched but tape fixed that.
