I have always liked the Taks. I have several, but this particular guitar is really impressive not only because of its sound, but the fact that it plays as fast and as smoothly as any Martin on the market. It really is buttery. I own 3 Martins and I would put this guitar right up with them any day. It sings. Buy this guitar, you won't be sorry.

I have a passion for playing guitar and collecting them. Each one have their own feel and sound. This guitar plays and sounds beautiful! The quality of workmanship is that of guitars worth a lot more money! The body purfling of maple along with the binding and the black walnut sides and back with the maple insert makes this guitar an inexpensive piece of art!

I play mostly for fun. I am 73 and bought this guitar because I used to play acoustic but switched to a Gibson Les Paul and now miss the acoustic. I owned a Takamine guitar with the eagle inlay in the past and this GD93 sounds about equal to that much more expensive guitar. The workmanship is beautiful and the action was set to easily play right out of the box. It does NOT have that tinny sound that most guitars from China tend to have. My last acoustic was a Martin HD28 and although I can't say this is equal to it but for over $2000 less WOW it is a deal.!
