Sikorski Silent Prayer String Series Composed by Giya Kancheli (Kantscheli)

Silent Prayer was written on the occasion of Gidon Kremer's 60th birthday and Mstislav Rostropovich's 80th birthday in 2007. The performance CD, which is part of the hire material, contains, apart from tampura sounds (synthesizer), short singing sections in Russian recorded by a seven year old girl from Georgia.
