Great package

The Shure SM57 has lived up to its reputation. I bought it to mic a Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb RI amp when I recorded a cover of The Sultans of Swing with my Telecaster. It captured the tone of the guitar and amp better than I could have imagined. The boom mic stand does its job but you really have to tighten the clamp hard that angles the boom when it's extended to keep it from sagging under the weight of the mic. But for only $10.99 over the cost of the mic alone the stand and cable are a bargain.

Don't buy the bundle

The stand is very poorly designed and doesn't hold the mic in place at all. On top of that, the xlr cable is pretty cheap. You're better off just getting the sm57 by itself and buying other cables and stands separately. The microphone is decent so far, I haven't got to use it much yet since I don't have a functioning mic stand

Like most reviews of this bundle, the stand and cord seem fairly cheap. They'll work fine for me at home, but I couldn't see the stand lasting long gigging. Can't complain since the cost is only like $10 more than the mic alone!

Best hammer I ever owned, great defensive weapon...and it's a microphone too? Sm 57, just a standard workhorse of the industry. The stand, though a budget accessory, is fine and works properly. The 4 star rating is only because of the mic cord which is pretty flimsy. The price was right I use the 57 for my vocals, it just works better for my voice than the 58. yes, I gig (40+ years) this package deal was at a great price point, arrived FAST in perfect condition. Thanx GC !

Cant go wrong with an SM57, and for another ten bucks you get a stand and cable. What's not to like?

Very pleased with mic performance and durability. Expected a cheap stand, but seems sturdy and of good quality. I am very picky when it comes to electronics, but very satisfied with this product.
