The Sela Harmony D Kurd handpan is the perfect combination of percussion and melody instrument. It consists of two steel bowls, combined and elaborately hammered by hand as part of the manufacturing process. This creates dents and a small hill in the middle of the body. These surfaces are tuned perfectly to match notes on a common scale. The central note lies in the middle, surrounded by eight more tones. When the fields are played, the sound is bright and long-lasting.

The soft, ethereal and mysterious sounds of this instrument are ideal as a musical accompaniment for spiritual activities such as yoga or meditation. Because the sounds are already crafted and tuned by hand during manufacturing, only the lightest touch is necessary to get a full, nuanced sound from the handpan at low volumes.

The instrument comes with a padded nylon bag, with two handles for carrying by hand and two adjustable shoulder straps. Small accessories such as a metronome can be stored in the practical outer compartment.
