Best Pedal for Strat and Black Face

I have had the TP pedal for about 6 months. It is my "always on" pedal with a Strat into a '65 Deluxe. As written, the pedal was designed to emulate the sound of a pushed Naylor SD60. I've never heard the SD60, but can write the following-- AMP section- There was a reason they change the name of the prototype to AMP from BOOST. You will get some boost, but it is minimal. What it does is color and fatten the tone. To my ear, it seems to accentuate those tones normally associated with the Strat in each of the 5 toggle positions. If you like the sound of a Strat through a black face Fender, this pedal is a must, as it just makes more. The AMP section also works great into other OD pedals. Though I believe the pedal was intended to work with humbuckers, it seems much more comfortable with single coils. DRIVE - The drive is a bit more modern sounding than the blues oriented drives I have. Seems to fit perfectly with the '80s, 90's rock/pop music Tim has recorded and enjoys. It is a bit more compressed than a Klon or TS pedal and seems to have a bit more hair than grit. For me, the drive works better with humbuckers. Combining both side gives you a fat, compressed drive sound at any volume. This allows it to be the best sounding OD pedal for low volume playing. Playing on the #2 input of the Deluxe [which is 6db lower output] and the amp on volume 2, you can get a sound of a tube amp being pushed into compression. The pedal is well made. It is my most used pedal. As soon as I turn on my amp and plug in a Strat or Tele, the AMP section of the pedal goes on.

Great sounding overdrive with 3 choices. Power amp, Drive, or both together maintain tone.
