Road Runner RR5TEB-ESP Highway Premium Electric Bass Gig Bag Espresso

Description
Its fashion-forward design includes a textured, quilted "espresso" top and back, all in a sleek trapezoidal shape, creating a dramatic, eye-catching statement even before you start playing. A heavy-duty outer lining resists scratches, tears and scuffs during transport and storage. Inside, you’ll find deluxe, 20 mm foam throughout that completely surrounds and protects your guitar. Thick foam adds even more padding, while structured, internal corrugated boards front and back provide top-drawer impact protection, similar to hard cases.
A secure neck rest ensures further instrument stability, and internal abrasion-resistant patches prevent guitar hardware from damaging the lining. A unique double-lid design delivers ample storage space for laptops, books and accessories without excessive bulk. Plus, an ergonomic, padded handle and stowaway backpack straps make travel easier even when carrying amps and other gear at the same time.

Fantastic case that fits odd shaped guitars
i searched high and low for a case that would fit my custom Iceman that is slightly larger than an Ibanez. The only other case that worked was the Coffin Extreme but that was way too big (like a real coffin size). Someone online said to try a non-contoured bass case. I brought my gtr in and tried this one out and it fit like a glove. The best part was the adjustable neck rest. Its attached with velcro and was easily moved to accommodate my gtr's shorter neck. It's well made and even has a 2nd zippered compartment the entire length of the case for accessories. Highly reccomended!!!

Stitching ripped on first use
As the title says, stitching for the handle ripped on my first use. Seems like it could be a great case, they just went cheap out on what matters.

I use it a lot, and not just for basses.

This case is well made and protects well. I also use it for an Explorer and a Firebird guitar so I don't have to sheep those massive cases around.
Solid. Fancy. I like it!

Submitted as part of a sweepstakes
I have a Mustang Bass and a Squier 12 string Jazzmaster that I need to move around. This case fits both without any issues. I love the color and the fabric. It feels super solid and looks very elegant. There is plenty of padding all around. The zippers also feel very high quality. I would buy this again if needed. #sweepstakes

This caught my eye - has a different look from other soft or hard cases, and serves as a hybrid. I find it much more convenient than my hard cases for my 70s jazz bass. Construction is good. Carry handles and straps are solid. Nice pockets for multiple use. Durable. I ended up getting another one because I liked it so much.

Been playing for 42 years and have had dozens of gig bags and cases. This is the most magnificent bag ever. I've only had one hard shell I like better and it cost me $400. Highly recommended!

Excellent gig bag for the money. It is SUPER protective. It is easily as good as cases costing twice as much.
