This practice pad goes everywhere with me. I travel quite a bit and this gives me no excuse to practice wherever I am in the world.

Due to its excellent rebound and sound, I use the 8 inch version of this practice pad 6 days a week to practice the PAS 40 rudiments as well as for rudimental speed practice and also keeping my reading skills sharp. I have a second one in my teaching studio to demonstrate and explain patterns and technique during lessons. It's durable and has a good volume to verify accurate playing of rudiments. It's tunable so that you can keep it properly tensioned for good stick rebound. It's also mountable on a cymbal stand for height adjustment. Highly recommended!

  • Great for a 6yo to practice on!

My son is really interested in learning how to play the drums like his old man did in high school. While I do have a pretty cool 9-piece set up in my basement, it's prudent to have anyone learn first instead of just wildly beating the heck out it (and it keeps me sane). We bought this practice pad for him to learn rhythm first and he loves it. I would recommend this to anyone with a child who wants to learn the drums.

  • Arrived quickly, can practice quietly

This product arrived within 2 days of ordering it. It is a pretty good practice pad. I sit them on top of my drums to practice in an apartment.
