Remo

collapse expand iconDescription

This 14" coated drum head delivers warm, crisp tones and controlled projection for snares and toms. Constructed with two plies of 7-mil Mylar film and a 7-mil underlay ring, the Powerstroke 77 reduces excess overtones while maintaining sensitivity and response. A 5-mil clear center dot adds durability to handle the heaviest hits.

Robust Sound With Vintage Appeal

The Remo Powerstroke 77 produces full-bodied, vintage-inspired tones with plenty of depth and character. Its medium-weight, coated film provides warmth and low-end punch that cuts through live mixes. The narrow underlay ring focuses the drum head's tone for articulate rimshots and cross-sticking.

Road-Ready Reliability

Designed for drummers who demand resilient gear that can handle night after night of intense playing, the Powerstroke 77 is built to last. Its dual-ply construction and center dot withstand the impact of aggressive drumming styles without denting or detuning. The coated playing surface is also highly resistant to weather and temperature changes, ensuring consistent performance from rehearsal to showtime.

Versatile and Accessible

Equally at home on snares, toms and bass drums, the Remo Powerstroke 77 pairs well with any drum or tuning. Its medium tension provides a familiar feel for most playing styles. The 14" size suits a wide range of common drum sizes, making the Powerstroke 77 drum head an ideal choice for drummers looking to boost the sound of their kit on a budget.

I get LOTS of different sounds out of one head using this on my 5x14 snare.

  • I'd buy another one in case it breaks.

That drumhead for the snare is really good and the sound when I tune it kinda goes with a "puh" sound when I play it, kinda like one of the drummers insta when they had that drumhead.

  • I would buy this head again
