Pretty nice lap steel with cosmetic issues

Overall it's a pretty decent little guitar for the price. Definitely needs a string upgrade. It's a good looking lap steel in the pearloid fretboard it's especially attractive. The string height is nice and the toll bridge gives you a great place to rest your hand for either playing nice and clean or doing palm muting. Some videos show that you can add string vendors but then that takes away the ability to rest your hand on the bridge… Still I'm thinking about maybe doing that in the future if I keep this… Please read below

Sent damaged product

The "new" lapsteel I ordered was obviously used. So much go the tone knob was broken clean off. Looked like someone had pried the knob off judging from the deep gouges in the finish of the body. Can't believe anyone in their right mind would think it was acceptable to send out a product like this. Didn't want to run to the store, which is an hour away round trip, so called the corporate gc number. The lady listened and said that I could send it back with no shipping charges. Awesome. Until after a good forty minutes into the call suddenly the lady wasn't there anymore. Called back and had to start over again with another customer service person. Lost my patience and wound up driving the hour round trip to take the thing back.

Sounds Great. Balanced and not overly heavy, so it's very comfortable to play on lap. Beautiful to look at and stays consistently in tune.

Nice LapSteel for the price. Plan on upgrading the tuners (I put a set of locking tuners on and it was a worthwhile upgrade)!
