Rock Solid - a real bargain
This fold-flat stand is worth a lot more than it costs. It is so easy to set up for use or fold up for transport. The frame is absolutely rock-solid when in open position. There is no wobble or front to back sway like on many of the x-style stands. The above qualities are actually secondary to why I selected it. The reason I first looked at it was because I need to play from a regular chair-height position - this arrangement gives me plenty of legroom beneath it. As a matter of fact - I am a 51 yr.old, full-time wheelchair-dependent musician. This stand is PERFECT for me to play from either an ordinary chair or from a wheelchair!!!!!!!!

Great if you have 61+ keys
This is a solid keyboard stand if you are using a 61, 73, or 88 key keyboard. The only MAJOR issue with this stand is however that the width is not adjustable, meaning that if you have a synthesizer with less than 61 keys (and many new analog ones are 49 or less), you are going to find this stand unusable.

I have tried 3 different styles of keyboard stands across approximately 25 years. This one is by far the best. It is sturdy and folds up nicely for travel. It does not allow my keyboard to shake or otherwise move while I am playing, and it has an attractive design; very professional in appearance.

So much more stable than the X stand I was using. It takes longer to break down the box it came in than it did to set up the stand. I highly recommend this stand for anyone that has been frustrated with wobbly keyboard stands.
A vast improvement over my X-Stand.

Super easy to set up out of the box. Simply unfold the legs and set the height. Somewhat heavier than an X-stand. Fitting the keyboard does require locating the groove in the bottom of the keyboard and placing it on the buttons on the top of the support, not difficult. I have not needed to adjust the tension in the legs, but they provide the tool for that. There might be a need for a wedge if the floor of the stage is too irregular.
