This is a very sturdy stand and not to heavy. If you own an amp with a cutout back that is larger than the stand it is easy to modify. I took a couple pieces of pc tubing and that did the trick. I did not paint the tubing because it cant be seen. Again this is a very sturdy amp stand

I use this stand to hold and tilt a GK MB212 Bass Combo amp so I may hear it better at low volume. An added benefit is that no one, including me, can set a drink on top of the amp. I've used it on all manner of shaky platforms and stages, including a few boats, without ever having a stability issue. This stand is replacing the same product, which became unstable due to a stripped bolt after 15 years or so. I'm expecting this one to have a similar lifespan.

Well built, pretty stable unless you need your amp at a more acute angle than it is not very stable. It will NOT work for open back amps unless your amp its pretty small it didn't fit on my Valvestate VS 100 1x12 I had to add a piece of wood on the back so that the stand arms would not fall through the back and hit the speaker but after I did that it works fine. Good value for the price point. They should build it with an option to extend the back brace arm so it would fit on open back amps.

This is a great stand for small box combo amps. It holds my Supro Black Wand Princeton Reverb nicely, but it is not appropriate for amps similar in size to an AC15 HW. I mention this because I originally bought it for the AC15 HW, but found it was too small and the rear support bar rests against the rear cavity of the amp, so it absolutely will not work for that, or similarly sized amps.

I really like this amp stand. Having your guitar cab pointed at your head instead of your knees allows you to really hear how changes to your EQ (Bass, Mid, Treb) effects your tone. It is very stable when tilted back far, and can remain stable when tilted at only a slight angle. However the "feet" that touch the ground come closer together as you position it more upright so if you angle it so it sits almost how the amp regularly sits on the ground, it is not stable, but who cares because why would you buy an amp stand and not use it to tilt back your cabinet? The locking system feels secure as well and I am not worried about it failing. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the top back cross bar isn't long enough for some OPEN BACK combo amps. You can easily buy a piece of PBC pipe and Jerry rig it to be a bit longer, but I feel it's worth mentioning that it might not work for your amp (unless you do some simple modifications). If you're not sure if your amp will fit on this stand: The cross bar is 19 inches in length. If your OPEN BACK combo/cabinet is more than 19 inches wide, the cross bar will fall into the open back and you won't be able to use the stand (unless you modify it) The top cross bar is about 10 inches up from where the base of the amp sits, so a super tall amp might not work. Overall this is a really good product that does what it's supposed to. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good, reasonably priced amp stand.
