Its good the PPF401for mic sm58 ?
The Proline PPF401 Professional Pop Filter can be used with a Shure SM58, but it's not the most typical or necessary choice for that mic. Here's why: The SM58 already has an internal pop filter: It's a dynamic vocal mic designed specifically to minimize plosives, making external pop filters less critical. PPF401 is a standard gooseneck screen-style pop filter: It's really designed for studio condensers like the SM7B or AT2020, where plosives are more problematic. When it might help: If you're recording very close to the mic, especially for voiceover or podcast work. If you're getting noticeable plosives despite the SM58's built-in protection. If you're using it in a studio setting where the extra layer of filtering might enhance clarity. Consider alternatives: A foam windscreen (like the A58WS) fits directly over the SM58 and often provides all the protection needed. A clip-on pop filter that attaches to the mic body can be more compact and stage-friendly than a full gooseneck model like the PPF401.
