Solid Drum Rack

This was the first drum rack I purchased and I love it. The size is just right for my setup, and it's fairly expandable with the side arms. The extra cymbal arms save you a decent amount of money and space. The only time it ever wobbles or seems slightly unstable is if I'm either playing really fast or hard, but other than that, the stand is pretty sturdy.
Seriously Great Drum Rack

I am super happy with the PDP drum rack. It is of a very solid and sturdy material that does not move at all when playing. I am finally able to use the free 8" tom that came with my drum kit. My room is not so big, so the fact that I can mount 3 of my cymbals to the rack frees up a lot of floor space (I can even open my bottom dresser drawer again :D ). Along with this purchase I bought 3 Gibraltar tom arms (item# 1273887993052) to mount my toms and everything fit perfectly. I would absolutely recommend this drum rack!

PDP Rack. This thing is a beast!!! It took longer to get out of the shipping container and shrink wrap than it did to get installed. This kit comes pre-assembled as far as the clamps, legs and feet go. Everything is color coded for assembly. Basically seat the legs in the base and attach the curved bar to the legs all the way at the top to make leveling easy at the beginning. Adjust the accessory clamps to rough things in, slide the cymbal booms in the vertical posts, level the horizontal bar and finally start hanging equipment. Once the main bar is roughed in clamp on the side bars. I think it was about 20 minutes to get her unwrapped. I was playing and tweaking component locations inside another 20 minutes. LOL, I should also say I had the kit broken down since I knew the rack was arriving. The anticipation of her arrival was a killer!!! PDP support was awesome as well. Before making the purchase I called PDP tech support to ask a few questions. Morgan answered every question and sent me a detailed parts list. I had to call back after delivery to report an issue and they even fixed that!! Mike was who I spoke with for the issue; my part arrived on Christmas Eve!!!! Now that is customer service!
I definitely recommend this rack for the price

I never knew what I was missing until I replace all of my stands with this rack. I have a 7 piece Tama kit. It had all of the necessary hardware I needed. I previously had my 8'' tom mounted on the hi-hat stand. I am able to have all of my mounted toms on the rack. This thing is solid. It actually save s room by not having to use the stands.

Is this built for Electronic drums or acoustic? Will it work for my Roland TD-27. What hardware would I need to buy? I ordered one and now don't think it's going to work without several hundred dollars of hardware. What's the return policy for a special order?
This is designed for Acoustic. If it doesn't work you still have the standard 45 day return policy.submitted6 years ago

Is it possible to install practice pads or trigger pads on this rack??? Wish to create a practice kit made purely of pads.
As long as everything is the right size you can. The pads would have to have the right size clamps to work.submitted7 years ago
