Integrated Ableton Live

Launch clips and scenes. Access mixer, device and transport controls. Quantize, duplicate and double. The Launchpad Pro [MK3] features Novation’s deepest integration with Ableton Live yet. Mouse-free control keeps the focus on the tracks. Further benefits of this partnership include access to Ableton Live’s Capture MIDI function. When playing around with sounds and experimenting with tracks, this feature captures ideas as they happen. Thanks to the Launchpad’s built-in sequencer, sequence virtual instruments and print patterns to Clips with the Ableton Live integration.

Upgraded RGB Pads

Velocity- and pressure-sensitive RGB pads have an upgraded and responsive feel. With 64 sensitive RGB pads, it’s simple to use while making it easy to see clips and giving a dynamic play. The RGB pads are designed to work seamlessly with Ableton Live, and are great for playing grooves and launching clips. The pads feature several different modes to build and experiment with full tracks. Chord Mode builds harmonies, from the simple to the complex, all from the grid. Scale Mode locks the pads to specific musical keys for the perfect note every time. Dynamic Note helps play in-key basslines, melodies, chords and leads. Plus, Launchpad Pro [MK3] displays a drum rack on the grid when it senses the player is drumming.

Built-in 32-Step Sequencer

The Launchpad Pro [MK3] has a built-in four-track, 32-step sequencer. This sequencer features eight-note polyphony, plus Scenes and pattern chaining that help create longer sequences. Scenes helps create full songs with its pattern connecting and assigning controls. Evolve tracks over time with the probability, mutation, sync rate and play order controls.

Customized MIDI Compatibility

Integrate the Launchpad Pro [MK3] into any setup thanks to MIDI software and hardware compatibility. It gives the Launchpad hands-on control for live performances. Novation equipped the Launchpad with eight Custom Modes for customized mappings and MIDI control. With the Easy Start Tool, setting up the Launchpad to exact specifications is simple and fast. Practice, perform and produce right away with this creativity hub, with or without a computer.
