Great mic... but the internals are different than pictured

This mic offers NPR style sound with a clear high end. It reminds me of a RE20 with bass roll off. It's perfect for long format audio where you don't want certain frequencies annoying the ears after a while. It does require to close talk the mic in order to get the richest sound. The one thing to note is that the way the capsule is connected if different than the way pictured. When I got mine it came with a foam wind screen and the capsule was suspended by elastic. I called service and they had no idea why that was. That was a little offputting since small changes can alter the sound qualities.
Excellent Mic for V/O

I tried a number of microphones, but all of them were either muddled, tinny, or had some distortion including hum. This is really a great mic if you're looking to do voice over work or your own podcasts. Well worth the money! Probably the only mic you'll ever need.
