Comments about Native Instruments MASCHINE MK3:

My only downfall for the beautiful piece of equipment is the setup. This is my first drum/groove machine. I'm really excited to learn it as I go along but, there should be more how to when it comes to downloading everything. Maybe it's just me cause now that I figured it all out I feel silly for not knowing but, there should be some kind of instructions. But I love it.

Comments about Native Instruments MASCHINE MK3:

Easy to use as long as you download the online downloadable manual and getting started book on the Native Instruments website as long as you have used a sampler, DAW, or drum machine, synthesizer; bass machine or keyboard, you can use the Maschine MK3 it gets easier as you try the sample drums or instruments or sound effects before you pick them in your sounds, patterns and snapshots. Also downloading all the programs from Native Access may have taken a while and its worth it. Hoping later to buy the Komplete Kontrol synth and controller.

Automatic Pitch and Time Stretch Audio Support Now - Yea thats in software - but with how you can slice/scale audio and samples from hardware - in real time now - makes the hardware even that much more fun, and takes your eyes away form the software. Build Quality is amazing and pads are larger but with the same center matrix as old controllers. Pricey is why its 4 stars - but i'm still finding more sick things to do every day.

Comments about Native Instruments MASCHINE MK3:

Really important to mention a very common problem with the MK3. Big issues with a lot of the sample packs giving the error message "(insert sample pack name here) cannot be loaded".
Super common problem a lot of people are experiencing. I did a brand new installation and the only advice I could find was to re-install since the software, for some reason, didn't recognize the path to find the samples. I moved the samples, re-installed...and still nothing.
Everyone should know before buying the MK3 that it isn't as easy to set up and use as the videos make it look.
Also, super important to mention that there is no tech support for Native Instruments...only FAQ pages on their site that typically don't address the issue correctly and the website has a ton of errors.
Spent almost $800 for the MK3 (with protection plan from Guitar Center) and returned it after staring at my computer for 3 days trying to figure out a problem that should have been solved before these hit the market.
Buyer beware. Not as advertised and no tech support. Strongly re-consider buying an MK3.........

Comments about Native Instruments MASCHINE MK3:

Not a bad product at all, very well built, the pads are excellent very good response no delay they are pretty much on the same level as the MPC as far as the pets go, workflow is very good but I am not crazy about the sounds at all, overall it will get the job done for the price you cannot beat it, well you can beat it but you know what I mean LOL

              LOVE IT BUT DISAPPOINTED

Comments about Native Instruments MASCHINE MK3:

So I wish I didn't have to write this review but I feel I need to warn people. When I first got it I thought this thing is amazing. Great sounds. Great features. Great for using other soft synths on. One of the reasons I got it is because it bridges hardware and software. I liked how I could use the outputs out of the machine like any other hardware instead of using the computer speakers. I could go back and forth in the preference and it was great. However after only having it a few months it no longer works in that way. So basically its like a hardware controller but I really liked the fact that I could use it back and forth between having the sound come out of the machine and the computer but it only comes out of the computer for me now. I am really upset about this because I love the software and I would actually give the machine a perfect score if it wasn't for this but it seems expensive for this to happen. In addition to that my headphones never worked once with it. I know there are ways around this but Im kind of upset and I don't want to return it but i want one that works perfect where I can have the sound come out of the machine. Other than that its amazing but I really need to get around that. It can do sampling, the sounds are great, its a pretty good drum machine and to be honest i love it but I am disappointed and would not recommend this product unless you want to use it just as a controller and use the computer speakers. I really didn't even want to write this review because there are so many things I love about it but be warned.
