    I ordered it because of the metal lever in the boom part of the Mic Stand. I received the Mic stands with a plastic knob. They do not keep up with inventory and do not let the customer know they are going to change the item because they are out of stock.

    The product I received was not as pictured or described. The boom was non-telescoping and the stand base was very flimsy. It is not in my best interest to send it back. I would recommend to look elsewhere. This is not the first time this has happened , but it will be the last. I will not shop here again.

    I bought the 3 xlr's 3 stands deal and for the price it's a great buy. I just do home studio stuff and I'm extremely light on my equipment so it's perfect for that. The stands are the best part of the deal. While they might not stand up to heavy gigging, as long as you make a decent effort not to abuse them they should hold up well. The cords I haven't used yet but are not heavy duty by any means, and you would probably want to keep them hooked up for home use or a back up.

    Setting up our own PA system and needed some supplemental stands for the drums. Arrived in a timely mannor. Stands are fine, haven't used the cords yet. The free shipping is what made this so attractive. Only strange portion of it was I guess Guitar Center transports the stuff to a UPS shipper now instead of having it picked up. That created some delay in being able to get a delivery date through the tracking data on-line.
