Essential gear
This is the stand you need on stage or in the studio. It holds your axe at the headstock. It's stable and compact and has no detachable parts to get lost or otherwise complicate your life. The yoke is on the narrow side, but widening it a bit should present no problem. It won't be an issue unless you play a wide-necked instrument like a square-neck resonator guitar. The stand is light and folds compactly. If you lean your guitar up against the wall, stop doing that immediately and get one or more of these stands. #sweepstakesDelivery

Spend a little more, buy the Hercules
This is a least better than the old guitar stands with surgical tubing for padding. The foam padding is friendly to your guitar finish. The problem is the neck does not properly align to the legs. When you lock the neck in place the locking mechanism forces the neck to one side. I bought a pair of these on a stupid deal of the day. I would love to say that only one of them has the issue but they both have that issue. Your guitar ends up sitting cockeyed in the stand, doesn't rest square on the legs. The foam rings on the neck cradle need to be removed. They just get in the way. If you don't lift the guitar straight up the rings will grab the neck and the stand will end up coming with you. I will keep these but only use them for home. No way would I gig with them.

The clamp that adjusts the height is not good! I have 3 of them and only 1 works like it should.

Works well except for the height adjustment. It doesn't hold as well as it probably could otherwise it's a nifty gadget

I love this guitar stand. I have a bunch of them. It adjusts and fits all of my guitars. I like this hanging type better than the type that the guitar sits on a rack.
Excelent for the price
