BEATS FIGHTING WITH TOWELS!!!!

I'm soooo glad I bought this workmat! I had cleaned my acoustic by putting a towel under it and under the neck, I struggled through it for the LAST time! I used this to work on my electric and it NEVER MOVED!!!! Made my job much easier! I didn't know what to do! Also made a neck rest from an old koozie. I had read someone's advice on a guitar forum, answering another person's question that I had, and it worked to perfection! I had stuffed it with an old shirt and put a skinny stick, used for crafts, and wrapped pieces of shirt around them to give it stability to hold up the neck. I inserted them one on each side. Also put a piece of leather on the bottom. Worked great and never moved once on the mat! Never once had ANY ISSUES! Totally recommend this to anyone who has promised themselves NEVER AGAIN, as I did, after struggling with towels! Hopefully this helps anyone in question of getting the mat and anyone looking to save money by making their own neck rest.

Perfect mat for restringing your guitar or doing any tune ups to your instrument. I would highly recommend this mat to anyone who does work on their own instrument. It's kind of like a yoga mat for your guitar and a must need to protect your investment. The quality of this mat is top notch.

I have had a Norman's Guitars/Las Vegas work pad for years. It came with a plastic guitar stand for a strategic hole to support the neck. I can always cut one in this one. It is longer than the former which I like better, giving me more space to protect/work my six strings. I am content.
