The Martin GPC-10E Road Series Limited-Edition acoustic-electric puts the iconic tone and feel of a solid-wood Martin within easy reach. This limited-edition Grand Performance Cutaway model combines a balanced body shape with premium all-sapele construction for a versatile instrument suited to any playing style. Whether you’re a singer-songwriter or lead player, the GPC-10E Road Series delivers warm, nuanced sound and inviting playability at a remarkable value.

Martin GPC-10E Road Series Grand Performance Cutaway Body

The Comfort and Projection of a Grand Performance Body

From the first strum, the GPC-10E Road Series Limited-Edition acoustic-electric makes a cooperative playing partner thanks to its Grand Performance body design. This shape melds the projection and bass response of a dreadnought with the more compact, comfortable frame of an auditorium model. You’ll enjoy even response across the strings, with plenty of volume to fill a room, while the cutaway grants unfettered access to the higher frets for lead work. Overall, the body provides a balanced sonic platform that suits anything from open-chord strumming to intricate flatpicking.

Martin GPC-10E Road Series Sapele Tonewood

Rich, Resonant All-Sapele Construction

Sapele—an African wood related to genuine mahogany—provides the tonal foundation for the Martin GPC-10E. The solid sapele top combines warmth and clarity, with a focused midrange that makes fingerstyle playing shine. Sapele back and sides contribute punchy lows and bright, airy highs—a perfect blend for acoustic rhythm work or soloing. Thanks to Martin’s premium construction, the body and top resonate freely, rewarding you with nuanced response and impressive projection, whether playing unplugged or through the onboard electronics.

Martin GPC-10E Road Series High Performance Taper Neck

Smooth, Fast Neck With Rolled Edges

Martin’s select hardwood neck and fretboard contribute the most to the GPC-10E’s playability. The High Performance Taper fills the hand comfortably, while rolled edges invite effortless position shifts. Faux mother-of-pearl dot inlays grace the fretboard, providing classically elegant position markers without adding any sharpness or drag. From the first fret to the last, the GPC-10E’s neck plays smoothly and invites long sessions of inspired playing.

Martin GPC-10E Road Series Fishman Electronics

Plug in for Amplified Versatility

Expand your tonal options by plugging the GPC-10E into any acoustic amp, PA or recording system. The Fishman Matrix VT Enhance undersaddle pickup translates the guitar’s organic acoustic sound into an amplified signal with utmost clarity and presence. On stage or in the studio, you can use the volume and tone controls to dial in your ideal balance of natural bloom and amplified punch. The electronics open up new sonic avenues for the Martin GPC-10E Road Series acoustic-electric, while preserving its satisfying unplugged response.

This guitar has a mellow sound. Not super punchy, but very deep acoustics.

This guitar delivers a very powerful original acoustic sound. The design is gorgeous with well-crafted mahogany wood, very pleasing to the eye. The fretboard is smooth allowing the player to glide up and down with chords or notes.
