I play fingerstyle instrumentals and periodically play for private parties a get togethers. I really like the sound that mahogany produces. The bass and treble are less pronounced and the mid ranges are distinct. The sound is warm and full. The electronics are superb and have good variety of effects
Great guitar, great value!

Adding to my earlier note--I got the guitar with a mind toward playing in smaller church services, and Hawaiian gatherings/jamming, and podcasting.

Was looking for a solid American-made Martin good for singing accompaniment in various styles (Hawaiian slack-key, church finger-style, folk strumming, jazz). The guitar has a good consistent supporting voice, and invites others to join in.
Amazing guitar!

Great guitar. Love the sound. Worried about the OOO depth but it has great low end and volume. Love the mahogany tone. Just sings. Martin has a winner here.
