The Marshall 1987X Vintage Series Plexi 50W tube guitar amp head tube guitar amplifier head is a reissue inspired by the original models from the 1970s. Vintage tone is now available with modern benefits, including an effects loop and bypass switch. Similar in style to the 1959HW, the lower-wattage 1987X breaks up earlier and at lower volumes.

- 50W driven by two EL34 valves
- Choose the High Treble or Normal channel or blend the two together using a patch lead and two volume controls
- On the back panel is an effects loop with bypass switch
- Made in the U.K.
