Good mid level combo bass amp

I was looking for an amp that is very good for practice, at least usable for small club gigs, won't dominate the living room, and isn't crazy expensive. . Great little amp! makes a bass sound like a bass. 1 ding - the fabric speaker cover doesn't protect the speaker well, and it makes a floppy noise. I would have paid $20 more for a metal grille. (Markbass are you listening?)

Awesome low volume tone

I love this amp. It has that low end that Mark Bass is known for. Beautiful tones BUT i took it to an outdoor gig the other day and cranked it. Gain at 8-9, master volume at 8-9. It started clipping and making an awful tone when i plucked too hard. No more gigs with this.

I will use this with my local community band and small gigs as well as practice. Could use for larger gigs with DI to FOH. Great tone even with EQ flat. Wide range of tone with controls. No cab rattle as I have had with other combos. Effects loop is a nice feature. Clear bass sound.

  • For the money and size this is an awesome deal! Thank you!!!

    Does the Gig-Ready Features
Like Just plug in the balanced XLR line out to send your tone to the PA system for more projection, mean that you don't need a Direct Box? Or do you still need one to connect to a board?
