    This microphone holder feels very secure and the spring clip makes it easy to attach and remove the microphone. The clip is very stiff though, so it can be a little difficult to squeeze the levers to open the clamp. We bought this along with a cheaper clip mount to compare, but it is definitely worthwhile to have the shock mount.

    An MXL41S shockmount was included with my MXL 603S mic, and I love it! It?s durable, fits my mic perfectly, and eliminates unwanted noises from entering the mic via the mic stand. The MXL41S easily screws onto the threaded end of a mic stand or boom. This is a must for recording applications; and I definitely would?ve purchased this separately, had it not been included in the mic package.
