Can't Go Wrong

I run an open mic. I usually have at least one musician who used a sound hole pickup. The cords are usually not long enough to reach the mixing board. With this coupler, I can now plug the guitarist into the existing guitar lead cord. Yes, they should bring their own, but as a host . .

    I used this to extend one of my pa speakers to get around the corner of a patio. It survived some light rain and someone hanging their foot in the cord to the point of ungplugging. It works well ajd would buy again.

    It will "work". It's not a good idea. You need a longer cable.

    I have an amp and a speaker cabinet with a 1/4 jack. Is it safe to connect the speaker cabinet with a 10ft speaker cable -> this coupler -> another 10ft speaker cable? I heard it may be dangerous to use a coupler on amp/speaker signals rather then input signals... is that the case here with this adapter?

    This would work but you may end up getting unwanted background sound.
