La Bella "Beatle" Bass sets are constructed with special lengths and gauges. Each handmade flat wound stainless steel string is calibrated to fit the three different bridge types made by Hofner.

    I have an Epi (Viola) Beatle Bass copy . I like to use as a back-up or to play Beatle songs with . I have never been able to get the intonation set right or get "that" tone i wanted . As soon as i put these strings on it was like night and day . If you have one of these type of basses you have to try them ! Awesome !

    I’m sorry, I don’t know. It would need to be tested. I don't think it's a matter of length. The are designed for the Hofner bridge.
