The DE1200HD was designed for the bass player who needs great tone, stunning performance and lightweight, all in one package. The DE1200HD, like the DE300HD, uses a 12AX7 preamp tube to achieve phenomenal tone and EQ flexibility, while improving its output power and decreasing its weight with KUSTOM’s proprietary, high-efficient, Class-D amplifier. The new power amplifier reaches 1200 watts peak, 600 watts continuous, with a built-in limiter that monitors the voltage rails ensuring your sound will not encounter any harsh switching distortion and retain great tone at loud volumes. The preamp features Tube Gain, Bass, Mid and Treble knobs plus dual ROOM EQ sliders (LOW Contour & HIGH Contour) and MASTER Volume, all giving you extreme versatility. The back panel has a Speaker Emulator XLR balanced Line Output, an Effects loop, Power Amp in/out, and two 1/4” external speaker jacks.

I was hoping this thing would be a good choice among a gazillion. And it delivers!!! Nice simple and powerful! Very little adjustments needed. I have this thing pushing the matching 2×10 and the 4×10 cabs. I really wanted the 1×15 but wasn't available until June or July. But this set up is nothing to sneeze at. It will knock your socks off! I like how simple it is to use. The room eq is a little handy I will admit. With 1200w this thing cuts the mix and the gigs next door mix! The head is fairly lightweight and the cabs are a little bulky but manigable. The 4×10 has unadvertised removable casters. I honestly bought this because I do NOT see them in the used section...at all. The whole set up for $1100 I feel is quite nice and gives me several options. I don't gig hard.2-4 times a month if lucky. My current band is a metal band and this thing stands right up to a Marshall 1/2 stack. It doesn't even flinch. The lack of reviews online make me nervous but...they have been around for a while so they have to be at least half descent.
