Ibanez

collapse expand iconDescription

Ibanez's S570AH electric guitar ushers in a new era of sonic possibility. With an ash body and Wizard III neck, the S570AH is lightweight yet resonant, sporting an ultra-thin profile for effortless fretting. Three Quantum pickups—including ceramic humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions and a single coil in the middle—provide a spectrum of tones from rich and warm to snarling with enhanced midrange. An Edge-Zero II tremolo allows for radical pitch bending and vibrato without compromising tuning. Whether practicing, recording or performing, the S570AH inspires creativity.

Resonant Ash Body and Wizard III Neck Set the Standard for Playability

The S570AH's ash body and Wizard III neck work in concert to deliver sustain, clarity and comfort. Ash provides an ideal balance of brightness, warmth and midrange, while the ultra-thin Wizard III neck enables swift, dexterous fretting over 24 frets. Together, these components set a new benchmark for high-performance electric guitars.

Quantum Pickups Unlock a Wealth of Tones

Three Quantum pickups—a ceramic humbucker in the neck, single coil in the middle and ceramic humbucker in the bridge—provide a spectrum of tones from rich and warm to snarling with enhanced midrange. A 5-way switch lets you select neck, neck/middle, middle, middle/bridge or bridge pickups, enabling mixes of full, complex sounds. Volume and tone controls put the full range of the S570AH's sonic capabilities at your fingertips.

Edge-Zero II Tremolo Delivers Solid Performance

The S570AH's Edge-Zero II tremolo allows for radical pitch bending and vibrato without compromising tuning stability. Its knife-edge design and stud lock function provide a low-profile bridge for comfort and rock-solid intonation. Express yourself freely, confident the S570AH will return to pitch every time.

Sleek Body Design and Gloss Finish

A contoured ash body and durable gloss finish give the S570AH an elegant esthetic. Its sculpted cutaways provide easy access to higher frets, while the overall design minimizes bulk, ideal for extended practice or performance sessions.

I paid full price for a new guitar, but the guitar I received has clearly been abused. There are two big cracks in the finish on either side of the neck joint, and a big chip out of the lower horn. It's such a great guitar, but so disappointing to see it arrive so beat up.

I bought this guitar a couple months ago as my second guitar ever. Affordable, beautiful, but I chose this one because it carries heavy duty Ibanez features despite the lower price range. This is still an S, just one that doesn't break the bank. Slimmed down body, fast Ibanez neck, Floyd Rose bridge, double-locking tremolo system, HSH configuration, coil-tapped humbuckers with a 5-way pickup switch, and each position sounds QUITE different under most amp/effects combos (only tried with solid state modeling amps). I love the pickup options, really great to be able to create more than one or two sounds based simply on the pickup switch position before even needing to think about pedals or other stuff I'm definitely going to buy anyway. Compare this to the features of more expensive guitars, then buy this one. My only regret is that, since this guitar can do anything I want, it makes any future guitar I buy a needless luxury item. I need more guitars, I'm going to buy, but now I'll feel wasteful when I do. :)

Own many guitars but this one stands out by itself in a good way. Crisp yet crunchy tone, sustains are long and smooth. Pinch harmonics are easy for me, but on this guitar it seems impossible to mess up. Guitar is lightweight, neck is smooth and if you are a sitter, the bottom groove sits perfectly for you to hit low frets and high. Stays in tune with the vibrato bar, but haven't dived it yet. Only big con I can think of is the bridge sits a bit too low compared to most of my guitars, mainly my explorer. Makes it change a little awkward but not a huge deal. For the price, easy 10/10

  • i would buy this again and again!

Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing what the blemish is. However, it would only be a minor cosmetic flaw and would not effect the guitars play ability. This guitar weighs approximately 7.5 lbs.
